It is my pleasure to share this interview with Jessilyn. Her story is deep and compelling. She's been intimate with the cannabis plant since early childhood acting as a source of healing and growth throughout her life. While she's a Registered Nurse in the allopathic tradition, Jessilyn's roots are in herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, yoga and more ancestral healing modalities. In this episode we discuss:

Scott is a serial entrepreneur with a creative mind and a soulful demeanor. He started his latest company ZIPPZ a few years after exiting his last company when anxiety and restlessness began to set in as it does for so many lifelong entrepreneurs. A buddy suggested he try cannabis to ease the anxiety and he was appalled by his dispensary experience and set out to solve a very significant problem within the medical cannabis industry. So ZIPPZ was born.
By teaming up with experts across a few different fields, he was able to create a very unique product that blends traditional botanicals with cannabinoids. After trying ZIPPZ myself for sleep, I’m a fan.

Adam Bierman is a man that needs little introduction if you've been paying attention to the cannabis industry over the last decade. As the founder and CEO of Med Men, Adam and his company were the first to accomplish many feats in the world of cannabis, including the first billion dollar valuation in the industry. He's since left Med Men, but is still very involved in all things cannabis and continues to push the limits of what's possible in this space.
I feel honored that Adam took the time to sit down with me and candidly share his experience as the tip of the spear of a new industry, constantly pushing boundaries and taking his share of heat along the way. He was also extremely humble and forthcoming about his thoughts on the controversy that seemed to follow him everywhere he went.
Adam's a bold business man, unafraid to speak his mind and potentially make folks uncomfortable in order to bring his vision to fruition. At the same time, he's clearly a dedicated father and husband, committed to his and his family's wellness. I, for one, cannot wait to see what he brings to the industry next.

Dr. Hill is back again sharing his great wisdom and experience. This time we go deeper into some of the psychological conditions that he’s seen improve with medical cannabis. He’s also careful to shine a light on the things that don’t have enough research behind them yet and some of the adverse effects that people sometimes experience. That’s right…cannabis addiction is very real for a small percentage of the population. Cannabis medicine, like everything, has both good and bad qualities and Dr. Hill does not shy away from this fact.

I have great admiration for Vanessa’s courage to fight against the stigma attached to cannabis and work with parents to find cannabinoid remedies for their children. This is big work! From autism to seizures to ADHD, cannabis is proving to be an effective treatment for kids and Vanessa is sure a trailblazer in this field. This was a fantastic conversation and you’ll definitely be inspired by the stories of healing Vanessa shares.
