What Are The Educational and Information Benefits of the Elevated States Program. The ongoing relationship is what sets us apart. Elevated States is a program provided by the American Council of Cannabis Medicine (ACCM). ACCM is an non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of, and professional treatment of medical cannabis. ACCM is the only national organization dedicated to this mission. We advocate and educate on a daily basis.
Your journey starts with any help you need to understand participation, whether you are new to medical cannabis, or a long time patient. Your membership provides you with a robust, and ongoing information flow. We keep you up to date on a multitude of changes, and evolving information about medical cannabis. These come in the form of timely alerts, to ongoing updates. Additionally, we help you with your personal journey, by keeping you informed about the status of your individual program, and offer an array of additional resources to keep you benefiting. By joining with Elevated States, you have access to everything in the ACCM universe. We are here to support you.
I am currently a Utah medical-cannabis patient—what do I need to do? To participate, simply sign up for the program. We'll issue your savings card, and you can begin saving the same day.
How do I benefit when I join the ACCM Health Savings Program? The ACCM Health Savings Program provides you with savings on your medical-cannabis purchases at network pharmacies. It is delivered by the American Council of Cannabis Medicine (ACCM) in partnership with Utah Patients Coalition (a patient-centric advocacy organization), and is powered by CannaScripts.
What are the benefits of being an ACCM/Elevated States Health Savings Program member? Savings on Medical Cannabis Every Day — You save at least 10% on medical-cannabis purchases at all Member First Health Network locations. You know what you spend on medical cannabis annually—the average person spends $1200 – $3600 per year. That means you'll save hundreds each year.
What does the ACCM Health Savings membership cost? Is it a one-time payment? Your ACCM Health Savings program membership costs just $39.95, and you only pay once. For that one-time payment, your membership continues indefinitely.
How does the savings program work? First, to find participating Member First Health Network dispensaries/pharmacies, ACCM Health Savings Program members use the “Find a Dispensary" feature on the CannaLnx Platform. Then, when members purchase medical cannabis at a pharmacy or online, they just show their ACCM Health Savings Program Card to the pharmacy (or enter the card number online). Your ACCM Health Savings card is always securely available on the CannaLnx platform (via your Sign-In Avatar or photo drop-down menu). Members are responsible for paying all charges for purchases (less the savings) directly to the pharmacy/dispensary retailer.
Do I have to renew my Utah state medical-cannabis card to qualify for the ACCM health savings program? You must have a current and valid Utah medical-cannabis ID card to become an ACCM Health Savings Program member, but you won't need to renew your state ID card until it expires.
If you don't yet have a Utah medical-cannabis ID card (or need to renew yours), please schedule an appointment with our service partner
Doctors of Cannabis and they'll promptly take care of issuing or renewing your "recommendation" and securing your state ID.
What conditions qualify for medical cannabis use in Utah? Many medical conditions qualify under the Utah Medical Cannabis Act program rules for medical-cannabis use, including PTSD, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and cancer. For more information on conditions, see
Utah Qualifying Conditions.
How can I locate the closest dispensary? CannaLnx features a "Dispensary Finder" through which you can locate ACCM Savings Program (Member First Network) dispensaries near you, as well as non-network dispensaries.
If I'm not yet a qualifying patient in Utah, what is required to become qualified? To be eligible to participate in medical cannabis in Utah, state law has several requirements for patients. We will walk you through the whole process.
There are four steps to participate in the program (our service partner
Doctors of Cannabis will handle each of these steps with you):
We'll also help you select a dispensary, where you'll present both your state medical-cannabis (marijuana) ID card and your ACCM health savings program card.
A patient must be diagnosed with a qualifying condition, must be a Utah resident, and must be registered with Utah Electronic Verification System (EVS) by their ordering (recommending) physician.
Why should I join the ACCM Health Savings program? The ACCM Health Savings program provides state-approved medical-cannabis patients with the ACCM Health Savings card, which provides you access to the Member First Health Network. The CannaLnx “Find a Dispensary” feature connects you to medical-cannabis pharmacies/dispensaries in the national network.
If you aren’t yet state-approved for medical cannabis use, our service partner
Doctors of Cannabis makes it simple to become a medical-cannabis patient, and walks you through an automated step-by-step process that connects you with leading physicians dedicated to cannabis medicine. They'll get your state paperwork processed so you can start saving.
What should I say when I call a dispensary/pharmacy to verify they're part of the savings network and accept the ACCM Health Savings Program? Dispensaries will recognize ACCM, CannaScripts, or the network's name, “Member First Health Network,” in which they participate. So, when you call, be sure to mention ACCM, CannaScripts or "Member First Health Network." The ACCM Health Savings Program card is part of that network and powered by CannaScripts.
What if the dispensary or pharmacy I choose to patronize does not currently accept the ACCM/Elevated States Health Savings card? The American Council of Cannabis Medicine (ACCM) and CannaScripts are engaged with the vast majority of the industry. However, the national network is currently building and expanding. We will provide easy-to-follow instructions so your chosen dispensary/pharmacy location can register with the Member First Health Network.
Once I select a dispensary, am I assigned to that dispensary? How often can I change dispensaries? Another great feature of the ACCM/Elevated States Health Savings Program is it allows you to shop at any pharmacy/dispensary participating in the Member First Health Network. You can visit any participating pharmacy any time.
Is this an insurance plan? No, this is not an insurance plan. The ACCM Health Savings Program provides you with special prices on medical cannabis purchased at participating network pharmacies/dispensaries. You pay the special price when you make a purchase.
However, some insurance companies now offer additional medical-cannabis benefits for their insureds. To learn more, and for a list of those companies, please call ACCM at 202-349-9650 ext.825 .
